Digital Manufacturing and
Design Innovation Institute
The Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute encourages factories across America to deploy digital manufacturing and design technologies, so those factories can become more efficient and cost-competitive.
Headquartered in Chicago DMDII is a federally-funded research and development organization of UI LABS, inaugurated under the Obama Administration, that works with manufacturers across America to deploy digital manufacturing and design technologies, so those factories can become more efficient and cost-competitive. The Italian Trade Agency has served as a promoter of the Institute encouraging Italian US-based manufacturers membership.
DMDII advocates efficiently working together to solve shared problems. The global market is becoming more competitive by implementing digital manufacturing. By capturing data at every stage of the production process—and by deploying specially-designed software and other digital tools—manufacturers can efficiently share and revise their digital designs.
Participation at this luncheon will provide an important context for the afternoon's forum, and will also provide attendees with the opportunity to network with Italian Manufacturing Executives.
