Sarah Webster 

As Editor in Chief, Sarah Webster oversees the editorial content for SME’s Advanced Manufacturing Media. That includes the respected monthly magazine, Manufacturing Engineering; the Web site; the new Smart Manufacturing quarterly magazine; as well as yearbooks, eNewsletters, smart phone Apps and social media programs.
Prior to joining SME in 2011, Sarah served as the Business and Automotive Editor for the Detroit Free Press, where she covered major automakers. Before that, Sarah was the medical and health care reporter for the Detroit News. She also covered courts, politics and crime for the Lexington (Ky.) Herald Leader and the Charleston (W.Va.) Daily Mail.
